Happy Birthday Dallin!

Dallin Brandon Stewart turned 1 on February 28th!  My one year old!  What a cutie.

Dallin likes to show that he is "sooooooo big."  And he is!  Big and tall for his age, and with his full head of hair, he is often mistaken for older.  He is learning to walk and talk, but he likes to be cautious and careful about all of that.  I think he's taken up to 9 steps and says "mama" "dada" "uh-oh" "ba" (for bottle) "boo(k)" and "nah nah" - which stands for ni-night, or no no.

Dallin LOVED his blueberry muffin with one candle.  He kept looking at me with this look in his eye like he was thinking "are you SURE this is all for me?"

My favorite thing about Dallin is that he's got personality!!!  This boy entered the world with spunk.  He loves to laugh and make others laugh with his pretend sneezes, quick movements, and funny sounds.  He doesn't take to being bugged very well.  It's so funny!  If he's tired and I try to kiss him - he's been known to attack.  And when Ashley comes up and sings or talks loud in his face he freaks out, yells a bit, and pops her head a few times!  Where did he learn that?!

He loved these pink glasses Ashley dug out of her toy bin.  He thought he was really funny, so he kept them on for a while!

I just love my little boy!  He is so much fun to be around.  I love to watch him discover life and all it has to offer.  What a perfect little boy!

Happy Birthday Ashley!

I can't believe my little girl is 4!!  It seems so strange to say I have a four year old.  Ashley turned four on February 16th and enjoyed every minute of her day.  She had her favorite meals...Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, peanut butter and honey sandwich, PIZZA!!, and cake and ice cream.  Oh yes, and chocolate!!  We had bunches of family over and she had a blast.

I just want to say that I love my little girl.  She is full of sunshine, smiles, and sweetness.  She can drive me crazy with her energy, and melt me with her compassion.  She's our social butterfly and never gets tired of attention!!
Because of her February birthday, she was pretty old when she entered Primary for the first time this January.  I've heard many a story since then.  I cringe every time someone tells me they have an Ashley story since she has said some embarrassing things in the past, but so far it hasn't been too bad!  Here's just one story...

One Sunday while the primary kids were singing Ashley suddenly got up in the front, put her arms up and said "Wait everyone, pause!  PAUSE!  I need to go talk to my friend Ellen in the back!!"  She couldn't understand why everyone wouldn't want to "pause" for her.  Haha.

Such a cutie.  So beautiful too!  But I guess I'm a little biased.  :)

The Stewart blog has FINALLY arrived!!

So I'm finally starting a blog!  Here are some pictures from this past year...a whole bunch of them!  After trying to post all of this once, accidentally deleting it all, then trying again, I don't think I'm going to worry about any chronological order for the pictures.  Enjoy!

Heather.

My brother Matt left on his mission to Nashville Tennessee February 4th.  We miss him!

Dallin's 1st real boy haircut. (Although we've buzzed his hair a few times already)

I still kind of miss this hair.

Playing at the river house.  (We're so sad that my parents are trying to sell it!)

Watching a movie together. So sweet!

Ashley was so excited to make snow angels at G&G Wilson's cabin.

First taste of snow.

This is a picture from our last OCMCO concert.  Cool, huh!

Ashley's first time riding a bigger bike.  (Her friend's bike)

Matt gets his mission call on Halloween!
